I received my B.A. from Amherst College and M.S.W. and Ph.D. from the Smith College School for Social Work and have been in full-time practice in Connecticut since 1982. I have provided psychotherapy, taught, supervised clinicians and consulted in a variety of settings prior to entering private practice full-time. I now focus exclusively on relationship issues as experienced by couples, individuals and especially couples in relationship crisis. I previously held a faculty position at the Relational Life Institute developed and chaired by Terry Real, internationally noted author, theorist, clinician and lecturer.
