I received my M.S.W. and Ph.D. from the Smith College School for Social Work and have been in full time practice in Connecticut since 1982. I have provided psychotherapy, taught, supervised clinicians and consulted in a variety of settings before entering private practice full time. I now focus exclusively on relationship issues as experienced by couples, individuals and families and especially with couples in relationship crisis. I presently enjoy a faculty position at the Relational Life Institute, chaired and developed by Terry Real, internationally noted author, theorist, clinician and lecturer.
Offices and Schedules
I maintain offices in Madison and Chester, Connecticut and can be reached either by email or calling 203.245.0345. Office hours are available during the day time and early evening. I maintain weekend hours for initial sessions when required and for couples in crisis. Generally, sessions are at least two hours long, with the initial one typically lasting three. I do not participate as an in network provider with insurance companies but will gladly file insurance paperwork for my patients. Unless otherwise specified, I expect payment in full at the time of the service. Benefits derived from insurances goes directly to the patient.
